W/O Sicilia Nero d'Avola Rose Wine, Italy 2024

Named w/o (without) because it was born from the belief that wine should be 100% enjoyable without environmental compromise, this fresh Sicilian rosato is made from organically grown grapes and offers refreshing pink grapefruit and berry flavors.

The man behind it? Dino Taschetta, the third-generation winemaker who crafts some of our best-selling Sicilian wines. Well known for reviving his grandfather’s abandoned vineyard, he’s now doing his part to save the environment, too.

He sourced the Nero d’Avola from a sustainably farmed vineyard, fermented the wine in adherence with vegan standards, and packaged it in recycled ‘Wild Glass’ (which has a unique green tint) with minimal labelling and sustainable corks.

In your glass, you can look forward to a lovely, light and crisp pour that offers flavors of raspberry, grapefruit and peach, accompanied by a mineral finish. It’s a treat on its own and versatile enough to match a wide range of foods.
