Past vintages of this wine have been absolute smash hits among critics galore, but especially with leading Italian critic Luca Maroni. The tough-to-please expert has awarded a long line of its most recent releases a whopping 99 points—the highest score on his trademark 99-point scale. In fact, he called the 2021, “an absolute masterpiece.”

A blend of ripe Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon, it brims with generous red plum, strawberry and black currant flavors balanced with complex nuances of baking spices and earth, all hemmed in with velvety soft tannins.
