Lieb Cellars has been one of Long Island’s leading producers for three decades, and their head winemaker, Russell Hearn, has a particularly deft touch with rosé. In fact, a past vintage of his pink blend was named one of the “Top 14 Rosés in America” by the Chicago Tribune. Pink Fork is an elegant exclusive he’s made just for you.
Long Island is “New York’s answer to Bordeaux,” says famed wine writer Hugh Johnson. So, it should come as no surprise that Bordeaux grape varieties Merlot and Cabernet Franc thrive in Lieb Cellars’s prime-sited North Fork vineyards. Russell selected the best parcels, then treated the wine to a gentle pressing (to create the lovely, pale-pink color) and cool fermentation (to preserve the fresh fruit flavors). You’re in for layers of ripe watermelon, peach, and white cherry.
On the North Fork of Long Island, beach days, picnics, and backyard barbecues are a way of life. Russell named this mouthwatering rosé Pink Fork, because it’s the perfect wine to enjoy with any of these activities – it’ll refresh on a hot day, delight with finger sandwiches or charcuterie from your picnic basket, or shine with grilled chicken, salmon, or veggie kebabs.
This top-estate rosé will keep you in a rosé state of mind all year long. Act quickly to secure your share.
