She sourced it from a great, family-run producer in Lodi, “one of the top wine regions in the country,” where “winemakers have quietly started making some of the state’s best wines” (vinepair.com). The Lodi fruit alone would have produced a perfectly lovely wine, but the winemaking team chose to blend in someblended in some premium Chardonnay from Sonoma’s Russian River Valley (arguably the finest region for growing Chardonnay in California).
