This gem is crafted with Sauvignon Gris, a lesser known grape closely related to Sauvignon Blanc that’s known for its richly flavored, concentrated wines. Winemaker Jean-Marc Sauboua, an alumnus of Bordeaux’s legendary Château Haut-Brion and a previous International Wine Challenge White Wine of the Year winner, is famously obsessed with quality. To make this bottling, he sourced grapes from old, low-yielding vines, which help produce extra-concentrated flavors, from Ludovic Roussillon’s Château Le Coin estate. He then barrel-fermented a portion of the juice for a little extra richness.

The resulting wine brims with vibrant lime and gooseberry aromas, leading to grassy citrus and passion fruit flavors. It has a lovely freshness that makes this a fine choice for solo sipping.
