For over 30 years, he’s crafted charming California wines using traditional winemaking techniques in an elegant style reminiscent of French classics. For the final blend, he used 50% Cabernet Sauvignon to provide a firm backbone and delightfully rich, blackberry flavor; 25% Merlot for plush layers of cherry; and 25% Petit Verdot to round out the blend with deep, dark-fruit notes and spice.
